We know everyone is interested in staying informed, but with so many ways of staying in touch it can be hard to know just what communication streams to pay attention to. Here are the main sources of announcements for NMHS students that you should keep an eye on:
Murray County Schools App
This is a free app any student or their loved ones can access. As a district-wide app, you can sign up for notifications from the district (e.g., closure for weather) as well as specific school(s) of interest (e.g., a family member can receive announcements specific to all schools their children currently attend).

North Murray homepage and Facebook
You can visit North Murray's main page at northmurray.murray.k12.ga.us any time.
More timely announcements can be read on the North Murray High School Facebook. You do not have to log in or Like the school's Facebook page to read the announcements, but if you Like us, the announcements will automatically show in your Facebook feed!

Your Student Email Address and Google Classroom (students only)
Much like in a professional setting, it is expected that NMHS students check their student email regularly (at least daily). It is common for group announcements to be sent through student emails, especially when something needs to be announced to an entire grade level. During times of distance learning, teachers commonly send announcements through Google Classroom as well, and depending on how you customize your Classroom notification settings you may also receive Classroom notifications through email. In either case, any student in the district has an account set up for them automatically upon enrollment, and your school system Google login info can be found here.
Infinite Campus Parent/Student Portal (students/guardians only)
Parents and students can set up notifications in the Parent/Student Portal to stay informed of their/their child's assignment grades, attendance, graduation plan, etc. Visit our Login Info page to learn how to set up/access your Portal account.
