For students who finish the YouScience Summit assessment's main brain games, or who already completed the Summit at another school as a 9th grader, here are a couple of ways to use the rest of the class period constructively:
- Take the optional interest inventory and/or "amplifier" brain games. This option is available before or after your results are calculated/loaded from the YouScience Summit's main brain games. Completing these optional sections of the aptitudes screen helps YouScience tailor your results more!
- Explore your aptitude results more in-depth. What descriptors match you? What are you reading that you maybe didn't realize about yourself before? How might this awareness help you in work, school, or social settings now and in the future?
- Explore your career matches more in-depth. Which of these aptitude-based matches appeal to you? Which ones have you maybe not heard of before? Click a career's tile: What is the day-in-the-life like for someone working in this career? What level of education does it require? What does it typically pay? Is it a stable or growing field? For this activity, you need to save at least 3 careers of interest that weren't already saved--but you're welcome to go beyond that!
